Pacific Heights

Because this Pacific Heights house isn’t lived in full-time, it was necessary to choose plants that were exceptionally low-maintenance. Initially, there wasn’t much going on in the garden beds, but we first worked with what was already there — for example, dividing and dispersing huge clumps of showy plants like agapanthus and calla lilies. Lots of shade loving species were put in, and adding flowers in brighter colors like electric purples and coral was necessary amidst all the green. The finished project was lush, colorful, and sweet, evoking the feel of an English garden.
